In this role you would be responsible for:

Strategy

  • Implement and cascade Global Depot Product Guidelines
  • Optimization and growth of the Depot Product portfolio within the Area (footprint/locations & services)

Profitability

  • Maximize the revenue and profitability of the Depot Product (company operated facilities as well as outsourced facilities)
  • Develop new revenue streams (BCO and Shipping Lines Customers)
  • Ensure area pricing in compliance with global governance
  • Drive depot product with sales community
  • Identify and deliver cost optimization (cost saving initiatives)
  • Manage capacity and product offering in accordance to market needs

Operational Excellence

  • Safe and compliant operations of the facilities within scope
  • Ensure adequate level of control
  • New products introduction and implementation (Go Live)
  • Drive performance transparency and continuous improvement culture

Customer focus

  • Ensure timely delivery and proactive customer focus
  • Manage relationships with key customers, whether Shipping Lines or non ocean and ocean BCOs
  • Identify new oportunities. Manage commercial pipeline (tenders, projects, etc.)

Leadership

  • Develop a strong and competent depot team
  • Drive a strong community and collaboration across products (lead across functional and organizational boundaries)

  • Implementation of depot product strategy within area
  • Drive 3P SLs customers and non ocean BCOs growth
