For our client, an international company with focus on engineering production, we are looking for a Senior Logistics Expert.
This is a newly created position withing the Global Competence Center and it will be based on-site in Plzeň district. You will be responsible mainly for suppliers management and related activities within all EMEA plants and also cooperate with colleagues both on local and global level.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining & implementing supply chain process standards for EMEA as well as secure high material availability in all EMEA plants
- Design and build standard processes in the area of supply chain management
- Implement processes and enable process maturity across all EMEA plants and other relevant interfaces
- Ensure reliability of the supplier base and a high material availability in all EMEA plants together with purchasing and the plant logistics
- Ensure the ability to measure process KPI
Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English language skills (level B2 and higher), Fluent Czech or Slovak language
- Practical experience in international E2E supply chain operations
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience in running supply chain projects
